Description
The Tramex Building Survey Inspection Kit is a comprehensive moisture survey kit designed for professional building inspections. It provides the essential instruments and tools required to conduct thorough moisture and humidity assessments across a wide range of materials, including drywall, wood, plaster, brick, ceramic tiles, resilient flooring, laminates, roofing and various building structures and air spaces.
At the core of the kit is the Tramex Moisture Encounter MEX5 moisture meter, offering dual-depth, non-destructive moisture detection with shallow and deep penetration modes. Surface and core moisture readings can be compared to eliminate substrate influence when testing coverings. The MEX5 also features a built-in hygrometer for ambient conditions and psychrometric evaluations, an infrared surface thermometer, and compatibility with external RH and pin probes for expanded testing capability.
Bluetooth connectivity to the Tramex Meters App allows readings to be visualised, geotagged and converted into moisture maps, reports and charts. Users can view the meter screen remotely on a mobile device when testing hard-to-reach areas. The kit is supplied in a heavy-duty protective carry case with die-cut foam lining and includes an extension handle for added reach and convenience.
